I am thrilled with my beautiful green July – Dec 2024 planner journal:) (I also just finished with the Jan – June 2024!) The cover is so soft and bendy, I appreciate folding it completely on itself when writing. The tone and colour of the paper and intensity of the ink is perfect (not too light to contrast too much with black pen, but not too dark as to be distracting) and the paper is so smooth and soft. Comparing it to another planner that uses the same TRP (which I will not name, it is still a wonderful planner as well) Owl is so much softer to write on and for some reason the paper feels as though it’s higher in quality. I appreciate the layout the most, however. The most minimalist design I’ve come across and I truly appreciate that the year is split in 2 books with enough blank (grid) pages at the end for ample daily journaling. Other great features are the numbered pages, the coloured tabs (visualized when the book is closed) to allow quick flipping to a specific month easily. The monthly calendar is so clean and free of colour, holidays and moon phases (which I find distracting), and I love that the number is on the lower right quadrant of each square. I appreciate having the months all together as well, with a blank 2 page spread for each month, which is fantastic for monthly goals, memories etc. The weekly vertical spread is absolutely perfect because it doesn’t take up the entire length of the page! There is grid room to the left and beneath it, so that there is space for lists and notes, separate from time blocking in the vertical columns. I love this because it keeps the vertical columns clear of messy lists and to-do’s.
