Five Ways To Journal in Your Bullet Journal
Some of us want a daily layout plus journal space in our bullet journals. It uses much paper. Also, there is the flow management. I love the flexibility that bullet journaling gives me, and I’ll be forever grateful to Rachel Wilkerson Miller and Ryder Carroll for introducing me to it. Every “problem” is just a wonderful adventure and creative journey.
Here are five ways I have found to use daily journaling along with planning journaling.
Bullet Journal Journaling Idea 1: One Page Per Day and Mini Journaling.
Most of my bujo life, I’ve used this method. I discovered how rewarding mini journaling was when I was using the Amplify Planner and it had a space at the bottom of each page which I decided to use listing three things about the day. I easily adapted this into my daily journal layout.
My advice to you is to try this. Record 3 things about the day at the end of each day. In just a week, you’ll have a rewarding experience reading about things you may have already forgotten about. A month and a year are even more amazing.

Bullet Journal Journaling Idea 2: Two Pages Per Day and One Page for Journaling.
Two pages per day is luxurious and creates more minimalist, spacious spreads. I enjoy this a lot. It moves through journals very quickly, but that makes a fun stack at the end of the year.
If you want to do this in the Owl Paper Planner Journal, you will need to be four planner journals a year.

Bullet Journal Journaling Idea 3: Block Off A Section Of Your Bullet Journal for Journaling Only.
Some people will enjoy having dedicated space in their bullet journal for journaling. You can set aside a couple pages per week, a few per month, or work from the end of the book towards your daily layouts. This will allow you to read a few entries at a time, and has some benefits.

Bullet Journal Journaling Idea 4: Use a Companion Journal.
This solution provides even more dedicated space for your bullet journal. To people who have economical page anxiety, the benefits are obvious and this solution may be best. There’s something satisfying to me to write the date twice and because I love paper, decide how to use my wealth of paper. 🙂

Bullet Journal Journaling Idea 5: Completely Freestyle.
Just have fun and go with the flow. Be artistic on days when you have the inspiration and capacity to do so. Or when you want to challenge yourself. Journal whenever you want by turning the page. Paint or letter or sketch or write or make collections or draw pictures of your favorite mystical seeds.
The Owl Paper Journal Planner System allows for much flexibility and can accomodate all five of these solutions.
