1 Simple Bullet Journal Goals Page Idea: Your Deep Gladness
Here’s a simple and inspiring bullet journal goals page idea for the new year.
I was listening to this meditation on soulspace about how God’s plans predate our mistakes, problems, and failures.
And our hopes and dreams.
How beautiful is it to imagine that the things you most deeply dream of doing are already out there, waiting for you.
Somewhere on Instagram I read, “your dreams are not just dreams. They are your future self calling to you,” and I loved that, too.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (NIV, Ephesians 2:10).
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (NLT, Ephesians 2:10).
Take out your journal, it said (already on it) and turn to any page (I think the goals will do nicely), and write the question, “What do you think God has prepared for you to do in this life?”
Wow.
Sort of like the mindmap.
I quieted my heart and listened.
It was refreshing to begin again, to make a list of things I think God has prepared for me.
“Then,” the narrator said, “put a star by the things you are doing now, and underline the things you are working towards.”
I loved that phrasing!
On the right, I wrote “more dreams.” Just because I can.
This bullet journal goals page idea is a beautiful way for me to begin the new year.
Now implement that bullet journal goals page idea: goals to baby steps via atomic habits.
On a blank monthly spread, I began to list the daily and weekly habits that would help me make incremental progress towards these goals.
Some of these I’ve already established, and some I’m beginning now.
